Cape Town, South Africa – The Amy Foundation lit up the Century City Conference Centre on Saturday evening, the 8thNovember 2025, with its spectacular Annual Gala Dinner and Auction 2025, themed “Rainbow Radiance.” The evening celebrated the beauty of unity, diversity and giving, reflecting the Foundation’s mission to empower young people from vulnerable communities to shine brightly in their own right.
Hosted in one of Cape Town’s premier venues, the Gala brought together a vibrant mix of philanthropists, corporate partners and community supporters for a night of elegance, inspiration and purpose. The atmosphere was electric, filled with laughter, colour and compassion as guests gathered to raise vital funds for the Foundation’s After School and Youth Skills Development Programmes.
The evening was brilliantly directed by the legendary Aviva Pelham and Paul Johnson, with the quick-witted Alan Committee as Master of Ceremonies and renowned comedian Nik Rabinowitz as auctioneer, ensuring a lively and entertaining flow throughout the night.
Guests were treated to an unforgettable programme of entertainment. The first half of the evening showcased the incredible talents of one hundred of the Amy Foundation’s Performing Arts learners, whose moving performances captured the audience’s hearts and reminded everyone of the life-changing impact of the Foundation’s work. Their creativity and confidence stood as a testament to what the Amy Foundation strives for, nurturing potential and creating opportunities for young people to thrive.
The celebration continued with show-stopping performances by South African music icon Yvonne Chaka Chaka and the sensational Manila von Teez, whose dynamic stage presence and artistry brought the “Rainbow Radiance” theme to dazzling life. Together, they created moments that were both emotional and uplifting, a reflection of the joy and unity the evening represented.
